Too Short, Bad Graphics, Worst Voice Acting, Broken Controls, Non-Existing Flight Model, Total Disaster!!!

User Rating: 3 | Iron Man 2 X360
As an avid Iron Man fan, I am sad to give this game such an extremely poor rating. I also have the first game, which I completed and enjoyed, even taking it's flaws into account. Well let's get down to the details: (1) The game is extremely short with only 8 missions which I managed to finish in under 5 hours. (2) The graphics are bad, it looked dated and unpolished. The first game looked 10 times better. (3) The cut-scene graphics are just as bad, but the voice acting is even worse. (4) The control scheme completely changed from the first game, and what was supposed to be an improvement is actually a total disaster. (5) The game play is a bit more structured which is probably the only improvement, but with a messed up control scheme the game play doesn't really matter. (6) My biggest complaint would be the flight model. In the first game it felt as though you were going super sonic when you held in the afterburner button, but in this game the flight speed is laughably slow, and seriously I'm sure I could go faster on a scooter. Come on this is Iron Man, NOT Driving miss Daisy!!! (7) I'll admit it - no game is error free. I can get used to dodgy controls, even to a broken and confusing menu system. But graphics that belong in the previous decade, a shortage of missions due to an uncreative or lazy design team, a flight model that belongs in the early 19 hundreds, and a high price to top it all off, is just plain unforgivable. If I were Stan Lee, the creator of the Iron Man character I would be utterly ashamed to put my stamp of approval on this production. And to the guys at SEGA and Marvel, you know you are capable of much better work, so shame on you too. Steer clear of this one, it is a shocking failure.
