Jak 2 is the best in the series in my opinion. The atmosphere and the characters that are introduced are amazing, that is one of the best aspects of this game. The cut scenes I actually enjoyed watching, unlike many other games where I hate having to sit through and watch them. Some characters are very humorous, for both adults and children. There are some naughty jokes and swears that some parents might be concerned about, but I believe they will all go completely unnoticed by the children. I firmly believe this game has a little something for everyone. The missions are such fun, but not incredibly challenging either. There are a wide variety of challenges including puzzles, shooting, and racing. The story is very intriguing, and you will continue to find yourself picking up the controller and playing just to see what happens next. The story is amazing and truly unique, almost bordering on some type of fantasy or sci-fi theme, but not quite. The graphics are awesome for the year it was made in and would be considered decent by today's standards. Whether or not you enjoyed the first Jak and Daxter you should still try this game out, for it is nothing like the first. The characters have matured a little but for the most part remain unaltered. Everything that has changed is for the better. There are a few plot twists that are unexpected, and some that are expected but it doesn't take away anything from the story. I recommend this game to everyone, especially at the price it is selling for today. Definitely not the usual bargain bin game, it is worth far more then you would pay for it.
