Killzone 2 will blow you away and set the standards of what a current gen FPS game should be like.

Killzone 2 is a wonderful game. First of all, the level of technicallity and the depth of the game itself is enough to initially draw you in. The animations and characters and the artificial intelligence of your enemies is amazing. It was the first of its kind and was on its own level when this game first launched. The Enemies have a jaw-dropping level of intelligence. These guys will search for you and hide from you and also find you. You will NOT feel like you're playing against robots in this or playing against a computer. These characters want you dead as much as you want them dead.
The game packs heavy weaponry and shooting mechanics that will leave your controller trembling and your surround sound system giving you back what you paid for it. You play in a Squad of ISA soldiers in the Helghan environment. The gameplay is driven by story and character objectives that occupy you emotionally so throughout your play, you will not feel like you're just shooting and chasing levels. Killzone 2 is one of my favorite PS3 games and Killzone 3 also doesnt fall too far from the tree.
