I happen to come across this game on commercials and I didn't figure it was that old because it just played on commercials.
"Kirby's Epic Yarn" is an inventive game about kirby's adventure where things are made of yarn! Most of the problem lies in the storyline, it was quite boring and wasn't as exciting as Kirby's other fast-paced adventures in other games. It would make me a bit happier without listening to the characters' slow, dull dialogue.
The addition of Prince Fluff is just a replica of Kirby and was not needed. I liked it better how you can have different colored Kirbys instead of a royal blue one who is just in need of rescue in the storyline.
But in other words, the gameplay is pretty fun to play. Kirby lacks some of the abilities he had that made him Kirby such as fly and was given some abilities he can use without sucking up enemies. But they also give new abilities for Kirby that are fun to use.
It was a cute game, albeit a bit too weird but Kirby himself is still charming.
