Well at first I though it was going to be fun. The faces and expressions are very good. The cars behave as they should, slow and non-responsive, if you have driven a car from those days then you know. Many are saying the game won't load and I can understand that. They had a patch at nearly the same day as the release, how sad is that. If a company is'nt ready to release a game and it's sure to have tons of bugs, then why is a dollar worth making people that angry?
Back to the game. I got well into it, up to the point of the lady that was killed with clothes on. Then when the first interview was over, Bang, the first of many crashes. I did finally get around it but only by assassinating my characters xp numbers and pushing the lie button to the questions. For whatever reason the game went through. Then the next interview and, Bang, Boom, CRASH again and so on and with EVERY interview from then on.
It has become so boring/frustrating having to restart the game until I find the right, wrong questions to ask until it let's me through that I couldn't care less what happens in the game. I run a fairly decent machine using a ATI 7970, 955 4 core running on water set at 3.7 and far more RAM then any game could ever use. Power supply is 1000 horse power so that is no problem and drivers like the VGA are from the brand I bought no generic. The machine is not the problem but the game is a Royal Pain and should be renamed as such L.A. Pain in the AZZ! So I will be waiting for more patches until I try this one again. I have other things far less stressful to do. The reason I game is like many others, to break away for the day to day and escape, relax and enjoy myself. This game does none of the aforementioned.
It's really too bad because I liked the overall look of the city even if you couldn't interact with the surroundings and people. Try running someone over (by mistake!) on someone else's game and they are magically unhurt, thank goodness.
No, My Friends, I say keep walking, there is nothing to see here.
To Rockstar, stop wasting our time and stealing our money.
I can hardly wait for GTA V, with the middle aged, over weight guy.
No doubt he will have a heart condition and have to watch his diet
because his cholesterol is dangerously high. You know who he is by the 38 he packing along with the 30 extra pounds he's packing also.
How about a total revamp of GTA Vice City? Make it bigger, better and if possible cooler, but don't forget to get Ray Liotta to do the game again.
