Good Design, fresh ideas
Straight away it took me from thinking about medieval, i wanted to like this game and the historical aspect of it hooked my intrest. Ive only played a few hours so far but i am hooked the Graphics settings can be changed very easily and on high the landscape and the buildings are very rich, when taking down a wall it is cleared and access to the city is how it should be. AI are good too, i was flanked and it seemed to be very sneaky..
some before battle options really make it polished, like sending out misinformation to scare the opposition or fouling their water supply to weaken them really is a nice touch. Also choosing weapons and special armour is a bonus.
The Reason i have given 9/10 is becasue i felt that the camera let me down a little, i didnt find it as smooth as it should be, but this could be my fault with a little tweaking of setting that could possible be changed.
Overall a cracking game thats kept me seated and will do for some while longer
