Unfortunately this game suffers from being overly cheap in a way that sets itself apart (in that sense and that's not a good thing) from previous iterations in the series. I simply cant stand playing this game for lengthy periods of time. Nothing much has changed for Mario Kart 7, but I really feel that the game revolves more around luck this time more than any other. Not to mention it being a bare skeleton, pertaining to content, in comparison to other MK entries.
I can't even count the number of times I've turned of my 3DS in frustration having gone from 1st to dead last in a matter of split seconds, whether it be online or off. Mario Kart DS still stands as the definition of this series for me and I highly doubt I'll be purchasing any future iterations of this series. I should have known better after Mario Kart Wii.
