Mario & Friends go to the DS for there first Mario Party handheld (NOT COUNTING THE HORRIBLE GBA MARIO PARTY!)
Well here is why
The plot is that Mario and Friends find Crystals, they also end up being invited by Bowser for a party, then Bowser steals the crystals and shrinks the crew, scatter them around the town. Now they must find the crystals and defeat Bowser
The gameplay goes like this:Your in a giant room, and you use a spinner to move around the room and earn stars to win the game. Then there are minigames, they usually there to keep the game from being boring. There are 5 minigame types:
Free-For-All:You get it
2 VS 2:You and a partner must win the minigame together, these minigames were possibly the worst since the AI is PATHETIC! sometimes when they screw up, the whole game is lost for you
3 VS 1:3 people VS a single person.
1 VS 1:You get it
Boss Battles:There are like this-You have to do certain things to take down a boss. You have to avoid what the boss does in order to win
Graphics are...well if you played a DS game with the word "Mario" in it, it would be obvious
There are also little puzzle minigames as an extra, but if you don't give a *BEEP* about them like me, you won't care
Overall. This game is good, but not something for starters of Mario Party
