Hell of a plot twist

Good

- The plot twist near the end was pretty insane. How Raiden was supposed to portray the player as obedient is really interesting.

- The section where the AI took over the codec was trippy, and pretty intriguing

- The Emma part was kind of sad. The game is good at introducing characters making the player get attached to them. At least some of them.

- Although there is a lot of dialogue, in the end, it really helped build up the narrative and characters

- I disliked Raiden at first. But by the end, realizing how rough he had it growing up and ending up being used as a pawn, i felt for him.

- Although I didn't get to control snake, which was a bummer, it was still interesting to see him as a support character. He has a big enough presence throughout the game to make it feel like he's still one of the main characters

- the graphics look amazing. Cutscenes are done well. Voice acting is top notch

- there's a lot of new actions that can be done, like hanging on ledges and shimmying. Cartwheeling. And holding up guards for items. These were neat additions.

- the dialogue at the end is very insightful, and I agree with a lot of it. It gave deeper meaning to the story, and made me question things.

Bad

- the camera angle is pretty terrible most of the time. Without the radar, it's very tedious traversing rooms. Having to find nodes to unlock the radar is annoying. Having to change to first person so often just to check ahead is dizzying.

- Not giving the player access to the M9 immediately in the Shell made the stealth very difficult

- despite having gotten used to it, tank controls are still uncomfortable to use

- guards take too long to go away after detection. I get how the player should be punished for getting seen. But the amount time I had to wait for things to return to normal took too long. It breaks the pace too much.

- it sucks that I can't bring up rifles without being forced to fire
