Easy to pick up and learn, fun to customize, multi player on your own PS3- Fail, with very slow load times

Well, where to start, Ok, a game that bragged it will be "little big planet'isk" fell short, short but not a complete disappointment. Lets look at this game, really, Mario cart, crash team racing, six of one, half dozen of the other, very similar in nature. Its amusing, quick easy levels, colorful, simple to understand and catch onto and hey, you can build your own cart and racer, pretty cool! But, what makes this game, in my opinion not quite the enjoyable "little big planet on wheels" is enough to make my self at least hang my head in frustrating disappointment. First, most people unless you are 12 years old (and even then..) would buy this game for what… same reason as Little Big, for great online multiplayer fun, customization and play with friend at your own place! It's a fun party game, with bragging rights to show off your "wheels", but… from the moment you start up the game, the load times are agonizing, and they happen frequently. Ok, yes, wait times suck, but the racing should be cartoon like, but very interactive for all levels… well not really, only 3-4 weapons to pick up, keeps the game quite boring, you know one of 3 things will fly at you, and most importantly, usually only on the last level, yes, there is always those games and you shake your hear "ahh I was so close!" but this game, you can be winning, and with a strong lead, suddenly, wave after wave of attack comes from no where's, to the point you cant do anything, and the more "challenging" you set the level, that's typically all that happens, but more frequently. Also, big, big disappointment, you cannot like little big planet, progress the story line with your friends that are actually at your physical location, and you cannot host or join friends online if they have split screen and you have split screen friends as well, all major disappointments. So to summarize, decent fun, with little thought put into keeping it interesting, with long wait times and disappointing online game play. Myself, shake my head in disappointment in buying the game, but I can see it still attracting some, esp. if you had no one to play with on your own PS3.
