MHF2 can feel like a not so lengthy game with a weak storyline. But give it a chance, and the content makes you love it.

If your looking for a very interesting and deep story line, monster hunter freedom two is not the game for you. Or if you expect to spend many hours on working to beat the game, it may disappoint you too because of the support you can get on every mission by using the online play feature.

the enemies and bosses in the game itself prove to be worthy, however the only things that truly gets stronger as you clear levels feels like the bosses. while other monsters you simply find walking around stay the same level, it wont be hard to dish them out one by one with that rare weapon you've been saving up for, or simply a more powerful weapon. look at it this way, you revisit the same monsters you had trouble killing, with stronger weapons. it would make sense for them to grow significantly stronger as well, but this only seems to apply to the bosses which makes the game a little disappointing.

the graphics are a little lacking and feel like they were thought of quickly and put up no competition to the videos you can unlock in the gallery, but they don't significantly give you a reason to not enjoy the game itself, as the environments are a little more impressive than the NPC's you have to kill.

the online- online is great and you really cant find something to argue with as teaming up with your buddys will make it easier for you to kill those tough to beat bosses and collect those rare items even faster. however you may find that without having a feature to set a limit on how powerful weapons or armors can be, you may sometimes find yourself with no challenge and simply a group of players who have beat the game looking for another item run from what seems to them as a daily boss, is a big time accomplishment for you.

the farm- the farm or pokke farm as it is portrayed in the game is quite useful and provides a way for you to spend a few good minutes doing something else besides slaughtering monsters or hunting down a huge boss. while the pokke farm feels like it should be something for those who want to completely avoid the gathering aspect of the game while running missions, you wont be able to upgrade it unless you gather items while on missions. so while it is useful, its a little disappointing that the only way you can earn pokke points is to gather outside of the pokke farm or go on training missions at the school. perhaps completing missions and receiving pokke points for that alone would have been a good feature.

the weapons- monster hunter freedom two shines in this aspect of the game.

Sword And Shield
Dual Sword
Great sword
Longsword
Lance
Gun lance
Hammer
Hunting Horn
Bow

you wont find a problem on choosing your favorite weapon class or the ones that work for you most, however later on in the game you may find yourself thinking that you have to spend most of your time hitting the bosses with nothing more than your great sword and doing the rest of the stuff with a bow. So you might not look into the differences of each weapon type like some other fans of the series will.
