A game that have ENDLESS possibilities. Everything I look for in a game. PERFECT.

WARNING: this game is going to be different. u might really like it, or u might not.

The first thing i realize is about how beautiful the graphics are. probably the best on Wii and definitely the best of MH series so far.

beautiful music, sounds, gameplay, yadda yadda... u can see gamespot's review for that xP

anyway... in the first couple of hours, the game seems usual; tutorials and easy missions keeping me entertained for awhile. but then something happened: the game beats me. WTF?!?! i gotta beat this syit...! so i tried again, and again, and again, and what a feeling when i finally got through that obstacle! the satisfaction is just overwhelming!

long story short, i'm going online. and WOW! i got twice as pissed when the game beats me, and twice as satisfied when i beat it. the skill of other players are really up in spotlights; if they suk, u'll know. but if they're really good, u'll be like wooowww... so, unlike war games where u don't really care who's on ur team and what they're doing, or racing games where the other losers in the back doesn't really affect u, the online experience in MH3 are really rich. how other players play the game could mean real difference.

the hunts are really huge. there is -always- a new way to hunt a monster. everyone should be a pro after more than 100 hours playing a game, right...? wrong. i'm over 500 hours and still haven't seen everything in this game. a couple of days ago, i surprised a dude that has been playing the game for one and a half year with a hunting technique that he have not ever see. at other times, a veteran taught me about an advance strategy or some rookie surprised me with a simple technique. this game have endless possibilities.

all in all, i can see the huge difference between monster hunter and battlefield or halo, and why this game is such a culture in japan. the tenacity this game demands to obtain even one single item is very "japanese". the monotonous same hunts over and over again are indeed designed that way so we as hunters could find new methods or discover another strategies to finish a quest.

but the satisfaction when u -finally- get that item, or when ur team is able to execute that brilliant teamwork, is truly amazing x)
