NBA Live shows off potential!!!!

User Rating: 7 | NBA Live 15 XONE
Nba live has made there presence felt this year, while obviously not being better than their on court rival of Nba 2k15, Live is finally a descent and a playable game. The graphics are a major selling point while alot of the time it looked like a real nba televised game. The gameplay is where the folks at ea sports keep their word and really made an action packed game. The dribbling is the best I've seen in an basktball game while of course having majority of players signature moves. If you're a casual basketball fan you would get a great joy out of playing with the stars like stephen curry james harden kyrie irving westbrook, Durant, and of course Lebron. Defense is very simple and effective. It really is fun this year, making transition blocks and blocking dunks to swing momentum feel pretty awesome. Passing the ball is much improved from last year while players make great passes and usually the best pass by default while ziping the ball around the court. Overall it's a really fun game that shows tremendous promise. Live finally has something useful to offer than 2k and that's what it's about when it comes to competition. The main thing I like Ab9ut live 15 is how they update player faces and accessories throughout the season. If lebron wears a mask then he will in the game if James Harden were to shave off his beard it will be reflected in the game. If someone gets a new tattoo that's visible or even gets a haircut it will be updated in the game. I love it . Lastly one of the best features about live 15 is the online mode it may be a small victory but it's worth talking about. The servers are great and by that it allows for gamers who have live to play agaisnt each other and compete globally. I'm an advid 2k player and I love competing but their servers are usually trash and I haven't been able to engage in online play 2k13 was the best in recent memory. Live 15 has that luxury and with ultimate team being enhanced it will make for a great and fun game to talk trash and compete in. The Bad At times the game can feel a bit arcadish While getting steals are very easy and leads to some amazing dunks, though too amazing at times . In the half court offense the players still stand around in a default 3 2 set. You can press the LB button to crest movement but you shouldn't have to players should move on their own based on their teams focus and play styles. The animations while being imprinted still need alot of work . The effort is there though but sue to the outdated engine that ea sports uses for this game it's hard to make much if an improvement . The presentation is good but lacks real depth as a gamer you wanna hear multiple people commentating on the game during half time and post game. Hearing Jalen Rose at those times is ok but can be improved. The Finals atmosphere and presentation needs to be improved too. Again while making a great step in the right direction, 2k has the best overall game presentation and with the espn license they can do better. Rising star is a good game mode but 2k15 is so advanced and is the reason why gamers play 2k. The rising star mode lacks the depth of what 2k offers and once you've played 2ks my player mode it's hard to really play this mode, 2k15 my player mode is as good as it gets and it keeps you on your toes. Conclusion Live 15 is back but not better than ever, EA sports has a ways to go but this game is encouraging. You feel like they've been teens and have finally finished the puberty stage and now they just have to find out exactly who they are and learn how to be successful. Much like a recent college grad. You've accomplished a lot but not your ultimate goal. As long as EA uses wisdom and keep improving on this they will finally be neck and neck with 2k
