Good job fixing some of the major problems with its first iteration, however, the camera remains a huge issue.
It's not difficult that characters off screen can grab, hit, or fire off projectiles at your character -- it's just plain frustrating and unfair. Other then the camera issues, the game imitates Parts 1 and 2, however, not quite as successfully. The game lacks the fluidity of its predecessors, and it does not feel as epic. The levels seem cramped and uninspired. The changes to the blocking/counter system were mistakes and basically create a lack of fluidity, where the old control scheme was spot on.
The story isn't as compelling this time around, but I came here for action.
The Multiplayer challenges are fun, and the difficulty in those sections is just right. The camera, again, can be a problem, but overall, playing Ninja Gaiden with a friend is definitely a plus.
