Expecting Overlord 3
But i also like to read game magazines and in a magazine i read they were making the review of Overlord 2 and they wrote really good things about the game.When i read it i remember my cousins ideas about the game and tought maybe Gamespot is not right this time and i bought the game.
First of all i have to say that gamespot is not right(i always trust gamespot but this time they were wrong) because this game deserves higher score than 7.0.At least 7.5 or 8 would be better and fair.
Let me describe the game a little bit.in this game you are the Lord of the Darkness,Lord of the Bad Hordes.it is different from the other games isn't it :)))
and you have an army full of minions.There are 4 types of minions and each group have different specialities.You start the game with only one group as you play the game and pass missions you unlock other minions.
There are 4 type of minions
Brown Minions:Your real fighters and warriors.They are good at close combat.
Red Minions:They are imnue to fire and they prefer range attack they throw fire balls.
Green Minions:They are poison imnue minions and they are good assasins.They wait in stealth position and attack ur enemies from behind-Backstab!They really give good amount of damage to ur enemies from backstab attack.
Blue Minions:They have ability to swim and they can resurrect ur dead minions on the battle field.
if you read all u can easily understand that all minion types are useful and necessary.in this game u control these minions and kill people,destroy or capture towns,burn houses or enslave the citizens of the towns you capture even you can kidnap some girls as your mistress to your tower Sound enjoyable isn't it :) Don't worry these girls also want to be your mistress so you can kidnap them.
You also have tower and your mistresses will be waiting for you in your tower and bed.You can have 3 mistresses together You are the Overlord you are the Lord of the Darkness you wouldn't settle with one woman would you?
They also want the same thing as the other women want.Spend money on them and your place.if you buy things to the tower as they want they give good things to you :) i can't tell the details but you can shake the tower with them :p
Whatever you can upgrade ur tower,weapons,armor,army even ur spells.Designing your tower is enjoyable also.
in the battlefield you organize your attacks and that is good and enjoyable.How can i say its a kind of action and strategy game.For example while ur enemy is coming to you you can send your green minions from different way to their back and attack from behind.While they are shocked you can send your brown minions for close fight and then u can send ur reds for range attack with fire balls this will seperate and kill them.You'll arrange ur own tactics in the game.
As a result this game is a little bit different from the others but i have to say that i'm glad i bought this game because as a result Overlord 2 is really a nice and enjoyable game to play.Oh btw this game is also so funny ur minions are so funny especially their speeches.This game is worth giving money and playing.
