Overwatch is a fun and (fresh?) game. Some imbalances have started to be addressed as I write this review (McCree and Windowmaker nerfs). However, I am one of those who believe that the loot crate system, while alright as leveling rewards, loses all its meaning once you start shelling out real cash for it. The complete randomness of what you get in them, combined with the amount of stupid rewards like voice lines and sprays make it, to me, completely useless. If you could buy straight up currency, then it would be decent, but having to get random crap with doubles being transferred into a minimal amount of currency does not make it worthwhile for me.
TL;DR: Game is fun. In-game microtransactions are pointless.
