The Final Chapter of the Sands of Time saga: action, acrobatics, romance, vengeance and dark sides... in one word: wow!

It's been ages since I started looking for this game after buying the first two chapters (actually it was my sister who bought Warrior Within for PC). Now, it is time to evaluate what I've been playing for the last few weeks. The first aspect is related to the thrilling and exciting plot: after undoing all the mess he did in the previous games, the Prince has finally returned home in good company... only to find Babylon ravaged by war, not to mention that his lovely friend had been captured and killed before him by an old enemy who managed to release the Sands of Time all over the poor Prince's hometown and become immortal.

After being infected by the Sands, like the rest of the inhabitants, the Prince finds himself wandering around his city armed with the Dagger of Time in order to undo the same mistake for the third time (even monkeys can learn a few things from their mistakes!!) while dealing with his own dark side and another princess who forgot everything of the time spent together in the first chapter.

The second and third positive aspects have to do with combat mechanics: a superb mixture of stealth and face-to-face combat which gives the player the ability to act as a ninja or deal with enemies in a Conan the Barbarian-like way together with the use of acrobatics that can give you a little boost while disposing of entire hordes of sand creatures or getting past certain areas with the use of your time powers.

The fourth aspect is related to the possibility of using two different "sides" of the Prince while fighting: on my personal opinion, the Dark Prince's combat style is much more badass than the Prince's one (after all using a bladed chain for killing enemies... thumbs up!!), too bad his health is constantly draining!!

As regards the negative parts, I'd say that it takes a lot to get used to the various possibilites given to the player by the combat system: the best bet would be to start with a few basic moves and try more advanced stuff little by little.

The second negative aspect is related to the various puzzles and enigmas you need to solve at certain points of the game, which can be tedious enough for you to quit the game and play something else!

In the end I would recommend this game to those who enjoy these intriguing stories as much as I do!! Final Score: 9/10
