Year after year, PES/WE series keeps declining.
The players doesn't know what to do and frequently get badly positioned - even the referee's still dumb. Konami couldn't even program it to correctly detect offsides.
Oh, the player switching... that's the worst. After lots of releases, it didn't get any better than the first releases for PS1. The game insists in changing the cursor to players which are not so close to the ball, or changes between 2 or 3 players in a few seconds, making it impossible to play.
It is incredible how CPU players steal the ball so easily even with bad players, while it's quite difficult to steal from it even if you have the best player against a bad one (I'm talking about difficulty 4 or 5, lower than this is for first time playing gamers). It doesn't make the game impossible to win, but surely is unfair.
Once the best soccer game, now it is overpast and keeps loosing territory to FIFA, which is getting better with every new release.
A real disappointment to the soccer fans.
