PES 2011 3D indeed plays like a football game should, its fun and accessible, but completely lacking in content.

I'll be honest, I'm more of a Fifa fan than a PES fan, but I still enjoy both games as they are, whilst I only usually play Fifa on handheld, I thought I would try the new PES on the 3DS.

It is actually a really good game, it plays without problems, it's fluid and generally very fun, but it's problem is that it's almost completely devoid of Game-modes. No Online features and very few single player modes, PES captures your mind for about an hour, but after that you feel empty without Online and the rest of the modes.

Another issue I have is that the commentary is absolutely awful. It sounds cheesy and lifeless, whilst being replayed over, and over again. Another is the lack of updated teams, these teams are still from last year unfortunately, a small hinderence when your looking for a player and he may not play for that club at the moment...

By all means, definitely play PES 3D if your a big fan of Football, just be weary of the lack of game modes. But my God, scoring a Goal 30 yards out in 3D? Priceless.
