DOOM May Have Created The FPS Genre, But Games Like Marathon, Elder Scrolls Arena, And, Most Notably, Quake, Helped Enhance The Genre. Quake Is
Relatively Simple. It Drops You Into A Well Build Series Of Enviroments, Mainly A Dark, Looming Castle, A Creepy Series Of Catacombs, And Some Large Structures Of Other Kinds. It Doesn't Really Have A Story To It. It's Just Some
Mindless Shooting Fun. It Throws In A Few Cool Weapons To The Usual Mix, Including A MG That Fires Spikes, A Gun That Fires Lightning (Enough Said), And, Of Course, Shotguns! It's A Very Good Game. Multiplayer Is Fun, If You Can Find Others Who Still Play It! The Game Has A Lot Of Replay Value To It, Mainly Hunting Through Past Levels For Secret Areas That Have Ammo, Extra Guns, Health, Or Bonus Missions Within. I'm Not Gonna Say A Thing About The Graphics, Because Graphics Don't Make A Game Good.Nevertheless, If You Want To Play Something Old And Fun, Give This One A Try.
