No variety? NO FUN!

Rhythm Heaven Fever is the sequel to Rhythm Heaven for the DS, which was the international release of a Japan-only game called Rhythm Tengoku. Rhythm Heaven Fever has some cool new features, such as two-player mode, but it only has a few games in it, instead of playing through the entire game together, and playing levels from the original Rhythm Tengoku, which is pretty damn cool, but it's just too simple to be enjoyed like the DS version was.

In this game, you can only use the A and B buttons during gameplay. That's it! Not even motion controls! If motion controls were utilized in this instalment, it would give a variety of ways to play the game, just like the stylus did in the original. Very few mini-games are fun and give a variety of moves to do with both buttons. That's what made Rhythm Heaven so good. The variety. It needs to give variety.

It's still a funny game to watch, but not as fun to play. I'm probably gonna get bashed for giving this a bad review, but it's just an opinion. If you're gonna play Rhythm Heaven, play the DS version.
