Rogue Legacy review

User Rating: 9 | Rogue Legacy PS4

So to be blunt, RL has the difficulty of a Dark Souls game, but the appeal of a old school Castlevania game, but with a randomized castle each time you die and go back in. It's nice and keeps the game fresh with the castle changing every time your "child" per say goes back into the castle. There are many classes to choose from, upgrade, and unlock. There are a lot of new weapons, armor, and runes to unlock. There is a huge skill tree to upgrade your character. While in each playthough, you collect money. And when you die, you get to keep your money so you can upgrade your character. You change classes with "special" perks upon each death, which is nice to keep gameplay fresh. Each class has an advantage and disadvantage. It's a longer game, I clocked in at 19 hr, and died a whopping 124 times. But you get stronger with each death, granted if you have enough money.

So I didn't see anything about this game that was a real con, nothing but pros. It's a great game worth anyone's money.
