Wow... E.A. you really Screwed the dog on this "genius" idea, huh? Well, we are going to take a different turn in reviews this time. I want to write a game review but, I can't.... why? because the servers are not responding... You see, kids... in order for you to play the game you bought, you got to be online at all times... I'm online. however, if the severs are having technical difficulties, then I can't play.... The game I paid for... what kind of nonsense is that?
If E.A is going to demand that I have a constant connection then, they should damn well have there crap in order so, that I can do it... This is the worst Idea ever. well... one of the worst. The other trash that brought my urine to a boil? We that I must first install ORIGIN and, it acts as a gateway to make sure I am hit with a bunch of ads, software updates and, various other things I DON'T CARE about. I just want to play the stupid game!
I remember back in the sim city 4 days, if I wanted to play a game, all I had to do was install the damn thing and, play! Same nonsense with The Sims 3! Lucky for us you don't need to have a online connection to play it. However, it seems like all E.A. games require you to install ORIGIN and sign up in order to install all E.A. games.
So, yeah... I got to install another program, sign up with ORIGIN, install the game I want to play, then install the updates, THEN play the game... and that's assuming that the servers are working... if not, then you just did all that for nothing. Depending on your connection, it will take around 1 hour to just play the game... Shame on you E.A.
If you ignored EVERY line of text above you, just remember this: Don't get this game unless you want to get frustrated... as an added bonus to my frustration, I had to deal with this.... using windows 8... I'm surprised I'm still sane enough to even write this review...
