I bought this game on-line for PC from Steam at 75% off. It took me over 5 hours to get it running. Everything indicated it was running from steam to the start-up, to my Task Manager. I realized the first screen was in the lowest resolution – 800 X 600. The curser was the size of a dime. There was no main menu that I could see. So, I randomly started pressing keys. When I got to F12, I got a screenshot – YEAH! With that in mine I kept pressing keys. Upon pressing the Enter key, the Main Menu popped-up and I customized all my settings.

The game itself is utterly FANTASTIC! If you like Half-Life, you will love this game. One can enjoy the same features and many more! Gravity control allows one to grab or catch items and toss them (i.e., gas barrels at enemies)! There are three time manipulations. The “aging” allows one to made objects old -brand new or brand new objects – ruined and old; very helpful! The second is a slow time bubble. Allowing one to enter and kill enemies which are in very slow motion. The third has to do with the plot itself. You bounce back and forth between 1955 and 2010. You are on an island of the east coast of Russia (CCCP) which is loaded with a raw ore that is radioactive. E-99 can be made into an atomic bomb, thus allowing Russia to rule the world. One can up-grade augmentations with E-99 also. Like Half-Life, you have a lovely, young assistance (like Alex – but no dog). And a doctor, like Alex’s father, to help guide you! There are plenty of difference enemies to keep you on your toes. All-in-all I am surprised there has never been the hype this game deserves!
