A must-own for any Sonic fan

Sonic Generations is probably the Sonic that everyone has been waiting for. A game where you play as the Classic Sonic with 2d levels and where you play as the Modern Sonic with 3d levels. I gotta tell ya folks. Sega got this one right!
The story starts off with the Classic Sonic running through Green Hill Zone then out of nowhere he spots a giant monster which captures him. Meanwhile, during the modern times, Sonic is celebrating his birthday with all of his friends. Then all of a sudden the giant monster then swoops in and starts taking Sonic friends away. Sonic attempts to stop it but is easily taken out and get captures too. Then Sonic wakes up in the middle of nowhere where he spots Green Hill Zone that's screwed up. After Sonic runs through Green Hill, he rescued Tails who's been brought back to life. The two then later pump in to their former selves. Now the two Sonics and two Tails then have to rescue all their friends and defeat the giant monster (which is control by Dr. Eggman, SPOILER ALERT!).
Now the story in this game is pretty weak and is nothing big just like the old Sonic games.
The gameplay of Sonic Generations is split into 2 parts. You play as the Classic Sonic with 2d levels and the Modern Levels with 3d levels. To be honest, they both control very good and much better than the pervious Sonic games. Although they are still not perfect, the controls can get sometimes a little too loose and can sometimes lead you to a cheap death but that mostly happens whenever you are trying to speed run the game and not take your time. Either way, I say this game has tons of replay values with well designs levels and some pretty fun boss fights (although there is not that many.) The Classic Sonic controls pretty much like the classic games which is good. The Modern Sonic controls like Sonic Unleashed and Colors except with a few new features like the drift which is so much easier to control. The levels are fantastic in this game. The only complaint I have in terms of gameplay is the final boss. Mainly because it feels like a last minute design. The controls are pretty loose and you will not know what to do for the first few minutes but if you can get through that then you are free to replay the levels all you want. One more thing I like to mention is in each level you will find red rings which you can use to unlock music and art. You also can complete challenges to unlock art and music but that slows down the replay value. Overall, the gameplay is great with tons of replay values.
The graphics in this game is pretty good. I wouldn't said they are the best graphics in a Sonic game because in my opinion that was Sonic Unleashed but it was still very good.
The voice acting in this game is good too besides Shadow's and Amy's voice. Roger Craig Smith looks like he is improving as Sonic along with Kate Higgins as Tails. The others aren't that half bad either.
The music is fantastic just like most of the time with Sonic game. Most of the stage remix's are good with some of my favorites being Green Hill and Chemical Plant along with Planet Wisp. Also, the music you unlock has some pretty decent choices too which you can use to play during the levels.
Overall, Sonic Generations is a fantastic game which is recommended to any kind of Sonic fan. With tons of replay value, good graphic, fantastic soundtrack, and the Classic Sonic returning, Sonic Generations will be a Sonic game everyone will remember. Although the game has a little bit of flaws such as some minor control issues and the poorly design, Sonic Generations is still consider one of the best Sonic games ever and you will love it. I guarantee it!
