SONIC GENERATIONS REVIEW

This is a great game especially since Sega have improved on Sonic's physics and gameplay. This game will bring cheer to Sonic fans and other gamers out there. This a top notch game but could have been better.

As you may know in Sonic Generations you get to play two Sonics. One with the original classic 2d side scrolling Sonic and the 3d best improved Sonic. Classic Sonic is truly great they perfected him with the game play and physics. But there is a few levels that have a platforming type gameplay that might be difficult and also frustrating at times. Modern Sonic has improved immensely with the controls and with a little platforming it gives Modern Sonic its original feel to it. Modern Sonic has a few difficulties like for instance blasting your way through levels seem fun but there can be evil robots or enemies out of no where which you can end up dying or losing many rings. Some levels seem repetitive just holding the square button and blasting your way though levels. But this is where platforming comes to play and makes the gameplay slower and more fun to play.

Sonic Generations story is very simple and although short but makes sense. Basically both Sonics have to rescue there friends from Dr.Eggman by traveling to there old levels.

The sound in this game is just outstanding. It brings back that good 16-bit music but tweaks it to being modern and it all sounds good. Graphics are pretty decent and some might say they should of used the HD input for better refresh rate but hands down it looks decent.

Overall this game is great and I am glad Sonic is getting his groove back.
