The game might have been the best game I've ever played. I thought it was too good to be true and I was right in the end, it was too good to be true. This is because those idiots at Sony Online Entertainment thought it might be good to add a combat upgrade, (in my opinion, a combat downgrade) to attract new players. Although about 75% of the players at the time said not to upgrade it, Sony went right ahead and disregarded those who disagreed. I mean really, you can become a jedi right at the beginning. It is a disgrace to those who earned the title of jedi in the original game. For those of you who want to get the old star wars galaxies back, you are in luck and it is better than it used to be! Go to the website www.swgemu.com and they are recreating the old star wars galaxies and the best part is that it is free!!!! Imagine playing the old Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed back to normal. It is still in creation but I think it is almost done because you can play, but there are no creatures and the combat is still mediocre. The music in the beginning still brings back great memories and I can't wait for it to be finished. After going to swgemu.com, look down at the section, "Site Navigation" and click forums. Go to "SWGEmu Guides." Then, click on client setup guide and it will tell you what to do from there!! It is a little tricky, but it definitely will be worth it when I get to recreate my master swordsman! I cant wait!!!
