When I thought I couldn't be anymore addicted to the Street Fighter series, the Alpha series comes out.
This is 2D fighting at its best. The controls were on point for 2D fighting in these days, and this was just an excellent way to start off a series. Although I never played this game near as much as the other versions, it was still worth every penny it was purchased for at the time.
This is a must play 2D game, an instant classic, of a classic.
The graphics were fine, the sound was the usual 2D same location, same song for each 2 round battle (3 if you both KOd at the same time).
The difficulty was what you made of it. 3 or 4 stars were just right, and any more or less, and you definitely noticed.
To learn all the moves for each character takes a few hours, but you can get by with only knowing the ones you prefer.
