the arcade version overlaps the console experience

User Rating: 7.5 | Street Fighter: The Movie ARC
this game was supposed to be a new revolutionary aspect of street fighter but did not reach its expectations of its following reviewers. because street fighter is meant to be a animation rather then snap shots of the actors and then modified.

i for one enjoyed this game only on the arcade version and the Genesis Sega Saturn since it was the similarity between them.

the graphics for street fighter on the Sega Saturn was highly more pleasing then for the play station. i guess the play station was a parody of the original i don't know why the graphics for play station sucked so much. also the PS version did not include the street fighter gaming experience. for one it did not include all special moves, it did not offer all levels, but besides this it did include a music video to commercialize street fighter.

both consoles and arcade did have the same amount of characters, only 3 new ones were added like savada the Sargent in the movie, blade a bison soldier, and akuma. but akuma in the PS version needed a code to unlock him, which was really a rip off since the Saturn had included him automatically,

the combos were the whole reason for the gaming experience
it was the only game with crazy combos for the mid 1990s. special moves and electrifying moves.

the game was a storyline of the movie with the actual characters portraying them, it was a new perspective of street fighter hope you guys out there check it out and play it for your selves, but only old school gamers would take this as a memory lane road to the classics.
