Like a game-boy version of Super Mario World...but different

Super Mario Land 2: The 6 Golden Coins is supposedly a sequel to the very "strange" Super Mario Land for the gameboy in 1989. This game came out a little over 3 years later in November of 1992 and it stars the same plumber himself Mario. But this time you're not trying to save Peach (or hell even Daisy from the previous game...weird) You're trying to get your castle back that's been taken over by Wario! (A.K.A this is Wario's first appearance in a Mario game) and its your job as Mario to collect The 6 Golden Coins to enter Wario's castle and defeat him! There is a total of 6 worlds and each one containing a couple of levels. If you pay close attention you'll notice that the sprites for the Mushroom and Fire-flower are taken right from Super Mario World as well as Mario's character sprite (but slightly changed) However what replaces the feather from SMW is a "Magic" Carrot that gives Mario: bunny ears that makes him glide.
After every world Mario must fight a boss at the end and he then receives 1 of the 6 golden coins. After that you then go on to Wario's Castle to fight him and get your castle back!
Overall Super Mario Land 2 is a classic game that ANY gameboy owner needs to have in their collection!
I give this game an original 9 out of 10!
