The kind of fun, simple gameplay we all love.
There are several multi-player modes,
Monkey Race,
Monkey Target,
Monkey Fight,
Monkey Golf,
Monkey Bowling,
& Monkey Billiards.
These make for a great time with friends and family.
Now, the main game, in which you need to roll your monkey through various stages to get to the goal, is truly great. There are three difficulties. Beginner mode is very basic and easy, probably only for people new to video games. Advance mode can be tricky, and will take numerous tries to master, whereas Expert mode is a real challenge.
The graphics in Super Monkey Ball are awesome. Wonderful textures and back-gounds, and very smoothly animated. And some very cool sparks from your monkey when you go fast.
The sound features many catchy tunes, and generally the game sounds very nice. Although the noises the monkeys make can get annoying at times...
There should be no problems getting used to the controls as the game rarely requires use of any buttons, all you use is the analog.
If you are a Gamecube owner, with friends to play with, or simply on your own, I'm sure you'll love Super Monkey Ball.
