A repetitive mafia game that is so addictive at the same time.

User Rating: 6.5 | The Godfather II PC
As you can assume, this is the follow up of The Godfather that was released back in 2006. The game is very similar to its predecessor. You will have to gain control of some businesses and kill the rival families to gain all the cities.

In total, there are 3 cities/countries. There is a cut-scene at the beginning that will show you how you become the Don. The little story takes place in Cuba. When the game starts, you will be in New York. You will have to gain control of businesses, hire family members, send guards to defend your businesses as well as do some favors to different citizens in order to gain what you want.

Gaining control of the businesses can get very repetitive although it is always fun to break some stuffs in the different stores. Your family members are sometimes not bad and sometimes so useless.

The controls are absolutely horrible. Sometimes, when you want to throw a guy at the ground, you will throw him somewhere else, you will not be able to hit as you wish, basically it is most of the time horrible. It can be very frustrating at the time you have to kill someone by a certain manner, and you are not able because of the control.

The game is quite easy. I died 1-2 times through the whole game. It takes about 12-15 hours to beat the whole game, but you can add few hours if you want to complete all the in-game achievements. That will not give you anything though.

The graphics look not so bad and the sound is correct. However, your buddies comments will get very repetitive. They seem to only have few lines of text in their brain.

Finally, this is not a bad game since the time you spend in it will be rewarded with some fun, but it will get repetitive as you will proceed through the end.
