Back to the Land of Hyrule you go! This game was based 100 years after Phantom Hourglass...

User Rating: 8 | The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks DS
The Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks was released in 2009 on the Nintendo DS. It follows Phantom Hourglass and ultimately, The Wind Waker. This touches up on Phantom Hourglass' weakspots, and makes the game more excited (In my opinion).

The Train, although fun to use, feels out of place in a Zelda game, and feels like it belongs in Mario world. I've always been known as a sailing or horse back riding man, and you would think, with Linebeck III and the Ocean Land, fans of the sailing might be able to sail in this game, but nope. You just control a mystical train.

I found this story lacked. In Ocarina of Time for example, you had to do lots and lots of things before you felt like you were making progress. After two Spirit Tracks temples, you already feel like you have completed 90 percent of the game already.

I will admit, however, coming back to ye olde Hyrule made me scream like a schoolgirl.

I love controlling Phantom Zelda, because you get a sense of power you never had from any Zelda before it. Phantom Zelda is a much better assistant than a fairy if you ask me.

Another major problem I've had was the Spirit Flute. It is TERRIBLE to play. You have to keep a consistent blowing pattern into the microphone for about 40 seconds, something that's even harder to do on a 3DS.

This game starts out stronger than Phantom Hourglass before it, giving you a much bigger sense of desperation because you have to save the entire world; In Phantom Hourglass, you only really just needed to save Tetra.

New items like the whip and whirlwind are nice features too.

This is a game you can pick up, and play for hours and hours. A perfect edition to the series for young and old fans alike.

The only thing that brings this down is the Spirit Flute, with having to blow into the microphone and almost passing out, and the train. The train just doesn't belong. All of the beloved characters from Wind Waker and Phantom being dead doesn't help this either.

I'll give this an eight out of ten
