Visuals:
The Half-Life series
Now this may be one of the hardest review's I have to do where I'm not a big fan of the Half-life series, but here I go. Now tthe this is a review for the entire The Orange box and first up is the visuals to the Half-Life 2, episode 1 and episode 2 are great for the time it actually came out and valve made the transition pretty good from the pc version to the console version which was great and I do understand that this game series was released before this package came together it did well, so basically the graphics are dated but still great.

Portal
The visuals in Portal are great but a little generic, but not bad either and they are a little dated as well but again they are still good, the environments and the texture are good as well in portal.

Team Fortress 2
Now the visuals in Team Fortress 2 was dated but I loved the look it had, I really loved the look of this game even though it was on the pc first but Valve really made it work on the 360 which was a good thing I never experienced any hiccups on the games visuals at all or any frame rate issues at all, and to me Team Fortress 2 had a little retro look to me which I liked a lot.
So the visuals on all five games are great, which is a good thing when all these games were originally P.C. ports, so the transition on all these games are just great to look at.

Audio:
Half-Life series
So the sounds in the Half-Life series are amazing from the real life sound to some of the weapons which I was surprised at from a game series that is a little dated but again I enjoyed the sound of the weapon's and to all the sounds in all the environments in the series which I love their were some points in Half-Life 2 where it got and felt creepy which I like in some games but I Loved the audio in this series. The voice acting in the Half-life series is amazing I loved the voice acting this series.

Portal
Now the audio in portal was great and some of the sounds seemed a little generic but I still thought it was great and I still loved the sound F/X in Portal.
Team Fortress 2
I really loved the audio in Team Fortress 2 I thought they were great, from the sound of the weapon to all the other sounds like the music and all the other great F/X to the game.

Gameplay:
Half-Life series
The gameplay to the Half-Life series is good and simple in away so the control's are easy to get use to, the gun play is fun, the melee combat is good, so basically what I getting across is the control's and game play are very fluent and that is a great thing, and the series is filled with some mini-game's and puzzle's to solve which is also fun to solve and some can be a headache to solve, but hey are still fun to solve at the same time and the hole game is fun to play.

Portal
The gameplay for portal is fun, and is also filled with a lot mini game's and puzzle's to solve but the best thing to the title is the fact to try to find your own way through some blocked path's just to get to the end of the maze or level and it really make you think which can be fun.

Team Fortress 2
Now for the gameplay for Team Fortress 2 which is strictly on-line only, and fun to play and their is a strong community for this game so it won't take long to get in of eveb find a match and their a bunch of MP modes to choose from and they fun to play, and the gun is pretty good, but might take some time to get used to, but this game is fun.

Overall:
Well the overall point is The Orange Box is worth getting cause their is at least something for everyone in this package that you can find in a bargin bin and know what I paid about $20 cdn for this package and know what for that price with five title's that will keep you busy four hours is a great deal, you should pick this up when you get the chance it is worth it.

The score for The Orange Box is:

9.0 out 10

This is a package that you should own.
