The Order: 1886 had a dedicated and principled story. It's innovative for one to have thought of the concept of alternate history. This was a movie-embedded gameplay, meaning that priority was given in unfolding the story rather than providing a player-controlled environment. Speaking of environment, one should not compare this game with other open world ones. The universe here was vast and exceedingly beautiful! As far as the script, dialogues, art and visual effects are concerned, The Order: 1886 was a polished work. One definitely needs to watch out for the mind bending cinematography! Such a themed and grained classic! Battling Lycans were intriguing to say the least! Minor glitches were spotted during several transitions from gameplay to cut scenes though. L3 to move faster and letterbox format blocking the views during confrontations with enemies would be the major minus points. The Order: 1886 being short, fast and easy were encouraging too! A hint at a possible sequel during the epilogue was ticking! And I must say that I am indeed looking forward to it!
