I had mixed reactions about this game. The Sims 2: Castaway was fun for awhile, a lot more fun than some of The Sims 2 expansion packs. This game was clearly a take from the movie Castaway with Tom Hanks. One of the most humorous parts for me was probably the wild monkeys, after you first journey past the shrubs near the coastline. It was just one of those random, "wtf," moments. At least, so far, I haven't seen a volleyball to talk to yet. Guess I'll just take a coconut, paint it with my injured hand, fray the top of it with leaves, and paint a face on it, and call it...Bob. Why not? lol. It was an amusing game, different from The Sims 2 game and expansions, and worth, at least, checking out. It was a nice change just to try to fend for yourself in a Sims 2 game, rather than going about a normal daily routine around the household.
