Simple but complicated.

I've played this for a few hours, and it didn't get any better.

The lack of units choices is frustrating compared to other strategy games. The maps are uninspired and boring, and it quickly becomes a rock paper scissors game with the the player matching their paper to their opponents rocks coming out on top.

The voice element is a really cool addition, and it's certainly a very original idea for console strategy games.

You have to compare this to other strategy games since we are not made of money and can only buy a few of these, not them all. I personally wouldn't buy this game again if given the choice, I would rather buy something like world in conflict, or something from teh dawn of war series. Heck, i'd even go back to Age of Empires 2!.

If you want to experience an armchair commanders thrill of speaking to units by pulling a trigger and pressing a button to tell units where to go, and can get over the rock paper scissors routine then give it a try if it's on sale for a good price. Otherwise i'd save your money for another strategy game.

Thanks for reading.
