Almost good game but strays away from the previous Tony hawk games.

Tony Hawk games have been around since 1999 and I've been a fan since Tony Hawk's Underground 2.To be honest,Tony Hawk's Proving Ground is not a really good game.In Story Mode, you get these "Lifestyles".In Career lifestyle, you do these common goals like taking photos and stuff like that.In the Hardcore Lifestyle, you have goals like learning to Aggro Push and clearing gangs out of a skate park.In the Rigger lifestyle,it plays out like a puzzle game rather then a skateboarding game where you have to put rails, cameras etc and skate around it.The lifestyles thing seemed so boring esspecially Rigger,I beat the game in 1 night on my first try. Then you get pro skater "Episodes".The pro skater episodes are like chunks of boring live action pro skater stuff. You'll meet pro skaters like Bam Magrea and Mike Valley. The game has major tweaks like new tricks like pushing manual to get extra boost and Bowl Carving.Aside from the dumb story mode, theres online play which I've only played once but you get online modes like "Combo Mambo".On the flip side,Proving Ground is a short game with only 9 levels and 3 areas (Baltimore,Philadelphia, and Washington DC).The graphics look all dark and grimy and ugly. The areas look urban and not really awesome looking as previous Tony Hawk games.
I recommend that you get Skate 3 instead of this short, boring game.If you're a die hard Tony Hawk fan,you might like this title but I didnt like this game.I give it 7.0.
