Neat idea, but faulty mechanics ruin the game

Good

- the gameplay is clever. When it does work in junction with the motion controls, it feels great. There is urgency to the whole process making it satisfying when you do manage to make it through the pressure and save the patient's life

- the skip function is useful

Bad

- in 6-7 there were instances where blood was leaking, caner spots were popping up, and the guilt was fusing in the same spot. And I had to use the drain tool or the laser tool. I tried to use the drain tool to deal with the guilt, but the game wouldn't allow me, since i guess I needed to use the laser to rid the caner spot first. However, it was never made clear that there was priority between what issue should be dealt with first if they overlap. The level was hard already, now it became extremely frustrating when I progressed so much only to be defeated there based on unclear instructions.

- Also on 6-7, the mission failed despite the vitals being in 86, healthy range in the last phase. No explanation why. This throws off all the rules the game has created for itself.

- the game could have used a hub world, where you can navigate using the protagonist. This would have made the world much more immersive. Instead they opted for a visual novel approach. This is a remake, and it's on the Wii. The console has totally powerful enough for them to do that.

- the character portraits didn't have enough animation. There were certain parts where the dialogue didn't fit the expression of the character. Example being when the fat chairman was on his death bed. Despite being on the verge of death, he still had a cheery smile on his face.

- the Triti puzzles could have used a training mode. Their explanation isn't completely clear. Trying to learn it within the mission is extremely frustrating because you can't see how you made a mistake. since the moment you pull out the wrong piece, more pieces show up immediately. It's hard to review why that happened. You are constantly overwhelmed, before you can even grasp the mechanics of the puzzle.

- the story is lackluster and very over the top. I cared very little about any of the characters. Also didn't help was the fact that none of the visual novel sections were appealing. It's like I'm watching a slide show. The backgrounds were generic, and the character expressions were the same few rehashed over and over. It was like watching robots interact.

- the star was way too hard to draw. They should have made it less strict. There were many times where I clearly drew the star, but because it was too small, or the edge went out a little bit, it didn't count, and I end up losing the mission. That was extremely frustrating. It adds a bad feeling going into harder missions, not necessarily because of the difficulty but because of whether the game will accept my acceptable drawing of a star.
