Detailed. Great Roster.
I'm just going to give a quick sum up.
Brilliant roster this year, great editions like Jon Jones and Kimbo. Also, fighting with Royce Gracie is brilliant. Though, I think some of the stats are a bit biased. Very biased, actually.
In create a fighter/career mode, there's heaps of choice. Lots of brands, names, moves, physical customisation options.
The only strategies that really work on the expert AI (or even the advanced sometimes) are ground 'n' pound and stand up. The Muay Thai clinch is useless, since it's easily reversed and you end up getting kneed in the face. Jiu-Jitsu is useless. Submissions are impossible unless you manage to not get hit for four rounds then suplex your cardio-less enemy into the floor, rock them and armbar them.
But, of course, the best thing is the fighting. There's so many moves it's not funny. And stand up has been brilliantly enhanced since the last game through the introduction of 'sway', which allows you to duck and bob around punches. I'm not very good at it, but I can tell the AI enjoys it.
The cage now plays a great part in the game, since now it stops/helps takedowns, and having someone against the cage just normally or in a clinch gives you a great advantage.
