All in all a good game but suffers from a bad career mode.
First of all, dont get me wrong UFC 3 UNDISPUTED is actually a pretty good game but its the core of its character creation (career mode) suffers from some fundamental design flaws.
The gameplay itself is very solid. I was impressed at the depth of the gameplay, your match really can go anywhere you would in a real life mma fight. Sure its not exactly real life, but hey this is a video game. all in all I was extremely impressed with the fight machanics in this game, I never felt confined to a few simple moves.
My problem is with the character creation and career mode. I hate the way you have to level your character through a bunch of downright silly mini games. it really takes away from the experience IMHO. I wouldn't mind if you could opt to skip it but if you do your Caf is going to suck BAD. So playing this game becomes work.
I would have preferred to level my Caf as you fight like you throw x amount of right hooks and your right hook levels up, you pull off x amount of triangle chokes and your Caf gets better at it. Maybe once you get enough points you get a attribute point that you can either put into strength, speed or cardio. At least that way you would just level up the things you enjoy doing and wouldn't have to worry about lol flopping onto rolling beach balls. All in all a good game once you get career mode over with so you can have a character that's worth a damn for online matches.
