SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom, the 2003 cult classic game featuring everyone's favorite yellow sponge, is coming back thanks to THQ Nordic. The game's "Rehydrated" version launches later this year, featuring better-looking visuals and an improved camera, among other modern updates.
GameSpot recently had the chance to play 12 minutes of the remaster, and it was a full-on nostalgia trip. Check out the video above to see us make our way through Jellyfish Fields, crushing the invading robots and culminating in an epic boss battle.
Rehydrated launches later this year for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. There are brand-new features like a multiplayer mode and content that was cut from the original game, including a boss fight against a robot version of Squidward.
