Wheres the Career Mode?

First of all I stopped watching wrestling since 2004, but the games are always a blast to play. My last purchase was 2010, which was I admit a little weird but it still was good enough where I enjoyed it. Customization options as always is awesome, and the story line is on spot with previous events. What is disappointing was when I was playing it, the controls have dramatically changed, it seemed fake and felt alot like Smackdown in 2000, which is a huge step back. The whole purpose behind wrestling is the drama, if people craved action more they would watch MMA or boxing. There is no career mode, which instead gave the role to the players, which I admit is decent. But they should have a career mode initially for custom characters or other characters of their preferences, and when people were done then add things to their own. It just showed that they were extremely lazy on that part. They do have previous career modes with legendary characters which tickles my fancy a bit, but I want my character to be in the spotlight, not someone elses.

The controls again are very clunky, seems like I am hitting fast forward on the dial when I grapple or hit the opposing character. Because the controls are completely re-worked the learning curve is by 30 min, but you cannot help but think "the other system was fine, why try to fix it?"

I hoped that the graphics have improved, but honestly have not at all since the 2008 release. Understanding, their budget may be extremely limited, but everything is laid out like a silver platter, all they have to do is mimic what they see on TV. I hope the next version is more elaborate with the story line.

Better luck next time.
