As far as RPG's go Xenoblade Chronicles is pretty good, I'd even go so far as to say it's the best game on the Nintendo Wii. However, things start to fall apart when you compare it directly against other consoles games. The graphics obviously look bad, the Wii was never going to look better than it's more powerful rivals, but parts of this game look bad even compared to the PS2 generation of RPG games! Story is OK, nothing to complain about, or indeed rave about either. The world to explore is huge. This is good and bad, it makes exploration and advancing a real chore for casual gamers, it takes a dedicated gamer and a hell of a lot of hours to get through it all, personally I found it made the game tedious. Overall it's a decent RPG game an RPG fan will love, but seriously, don't believe the hype.
