Good

- I loved the first game for being a solo adventure, with mystery. I could relate a lot to Ashley exploring the mansion alone and embarking to solve mysteries. I also like her personality a lot, and grown to like her a lot as a character. I also felt like I could relate to her sadness with her relationship with her mom and father, and how she felt alone in a way.

- at first, the 2nd game didn't grow on me cause it was much more open, and there were a lot of other people involved in the story. But I grew to like it. The atmosphere and people you interact with each have hardships that I felt for. It was interesting seeing how Ashley interacted with them

- At first I wasn't too into Matthew's story, but that also grew on me. His story is a sad one, but it was enjoyable to see it through

- I love how there are a lot of sad side stories that result in happy endings with all the characters. And even for Ashley's story. There's some bittersweetness to it all, but the game gave a happy closure to everything. The credits and the song playing at the end got me. Made me feel like the journey was a worthwhile one. Felt like I really got to meet Ashley, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing through her journey.

- I enjoyed seeing her grow as a person as well. Initially skeptical about those close to her, but after finding out the reasons for some of their actions, grew to understand and change her view of them, and grew close to them, namely her father. Also really liked the whole story arc of her finding out the truth about her mom. Ryan was also a bit of a sad story.

- the voice acting is good. At least for the main characters, especially Ashley.

Bad

- the game is a bit simple. Walk from point A to B, cutscene and repeat.

- The puzzles are generally very easy.

- The autoplay feature is a bit too slow. The pause between dialogue is a bit too long sometimes.

- some of the DS exclusive puzzles are lost on the switch
