Mirage is Ubisoft's best-selling PS5 and Xbox Series X|S game at launch.

Ubisoft has provided new details regarding the launch of Assassin's Creed Mirage, and it sounds like the game is performing well. After its first six days, Mirage has become the "biggest new-gen launch" based on unit sales for Ubisoft across PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Ubisoft did not announce any specific sales figures in its statement, but the company said Mirage has reached player numbers that are "in line" with the launches of Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey. "We are humbled by the positive reception" to Mirage, Ubisoft said.

Ubisoft did not mention Assassin's Creed Valhalla, so it's likely Mirage didn't meet or exceed that game's performance at launch, but in any event, it sounds like Mirage is doing well so far.

Ubisoft also confirmed that players have so far collectively spent 479 million years performing parkour moves across the game's rooftops and have performed 60 million leaps of faith. Players have also pet street cats more than 1.2 million times.

"We could not have been happier that our back-to-the-roots experience has been embraced by the community," Ubisoft said.

Ubisoft is expected to share more information about Mirage's launch during the company's next earnings release on October 26, so check back soon for more.

GameSpot's Assassin's Creed Mirage review scored the game a 6/10. Reviewer Jordan Ramee said, "Though uninteresting characters mar the experience, an emphasis on social stealth and a history-rich city curate a fun (and educational!) gameplay loop."
