First Look: Fighters' Impact
In Japan, Taito's 3-D fighting game, Fighters' Impact, moves from arcade to the PlayStation.
New in Japan is Fighters' Impact, Taito's 3-D fighting game that first appeared in arcades and is now available on the PlayStation.
In many respects, the game comes off as a generic fighter, but still, Fighters' Impact has a few features that distinguish it from the rest of the pack. The combo system allows for very long and complex combos. Most moves flow naturally into one another, but in order to turn these into a combo, the player must constantly use different moves. This unique feature means that if the player repeats a move in a combo, the fighter "overheats" and is unable to attack for a short period of time.
Look for a full import review and movie to appear soon on VGS.
