It's a blast to play. The combat is consistently engaging, with several characters' combo kits exhibiting a level of depth you'd find in a fighting game. And most of all, I was surprised by how seamlessly the levels integrate thrilling set piece moments with real-time player interaction. Where most games would cut to a qte or a cut scene to separate boss phases, Granblue Fantasy Relink keeps just about every big moment relegated to real-time spectacle.
