Developers of Resogun, the widely praised arena shooter that was launched with the PlayStation 4, are working on the release of a PlayStation Vita version.
James Hawkins, a representative for PlayStation Europe, told a fan on the PS Blog that the PS Vita version "is coming and is looking, sounding and most importantly, playing great."
Upon release in November 2013, Resogun was applauded for its visual effects and intense gameplay. Developer Housemarque was nominated for several key awards, including the DICE Game of the Year, while GameSpot's Resogun review was glowing with praise.
Critic Peter Brown wrote: "Resogun's controls, presentation, and rapid-fire enemy assaults make for an exciting experience. You're constantly under pressure, practically suffocating behind swarms of enemies, but you're never without the means for survival."
It is unclear when a PS Vita version will be released.
