As promised by Geoff Keighley ahead of the show, a new Among Us map was shown off during The Game Awards 2020. The 2018 mobile and PC game has had a huge year in 2020, and this new map shows that the game doesn't intend to slow down anytime soon.

The map, coming in early 2021, is set aboard a floating airship and will be completely free. It gives you a choice of which room to start in among other new features, like ladders, new tasks, and more. (In the meantime, Among Us will release on Nintendo Switch.)

Among Us has been teasing this new map for a while. In September, developer Innersloth announced that it was canceling Among Us 2 in order to focus on the original, which had found success two years after it originally released. "All of the content we had planned for Among Us 2 will instead go into Among Us 1," Innersloth wrote at the time of announcement.

Among Us has been so popular that even politicians are streaming it--Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez streamed the game for the first time in October, and it was such a success that she did it again a month later.
